Home service for the collection of bulky items and green waste in bags<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to support the operation of the “Green Point of Strovolos” and to facilitate our citizens, the Municipality has established the “Service for the collection of bulky items and green waste in bags”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our citizens, <\/strong>will be able through a simple procedure to contact and request from the Municipality, to visit their residence <\/strong>and collect the waste that they would like to be transported to the Green Point by paying a small subsidized fee.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our interested Citizens should keep in mind the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. (a) The green waste \/ garden waste, should be placed in the special “compostable” bags supplied by the Municipality at the price of one euro per bag.<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (b) The special bags can be bought if you proceed with a payment at the cashier\u2019s office of the Municipality. As an alternative, if you order and pay online, the Municipality will deliver them to your home (Please note: home delivery requires a minimum order of 15 bags).<\/strong><\/p>\n

    (c) The bags should be placed in an accessible place in front of your house.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    (d) The bags will be collected by our crew, after the Citizens inform the Municipality by phone, at 22470470.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. (a) The bulky items include furniture (sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs, cabinets, constructions, etc.), carpets, mattresses, electrical appliances (refrigerators, washing machines, etc.), children’s equipment (bicycles, bulky toys, etc.) and more.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      (b) The price for the collection of bulky items corresponds to ten (10) euros for one to three items. For each additional object our citizens will pay the amount of five (5) euros per additional item.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      (c) The payment of the fee can be made online or even at the cashier\u2019s office of the Municipality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      (d) The collection from the residences will take place within 3 working days. Before collecting bulky items from your home, the Municipality will contact you by phone.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      (e) The items should be placed in an accessible place in front of your house, once the payment process has been completed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n
